Melbourne International Arts Festival, Australia - 9 to 12 October 2009  
 

Strange Fruit opened the Melbourne International Arts Festival with the world premier of a new work Ringing The Changes. All performances were free, and took place at Birrarung Marr in Melbourne, Australia:

  • Fri 9 Oct at 7:30pm
  • Sat 10 Oct at 7:30pm 
  • Sun 11 Oct at 7:30pm
  • Mon 12 Oct at 7:30pm

Singtel Singapore F1 Grand Prix - 25 to 27 September 2009  
 

Strange Fruit featured as part of the entertainment program for the 2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix in Singapore. The Field was seen track side on:

  • Sat 26 Sept at 4.15pm & 9.05pm
  • Sun 27 Sept at 6.05pm & 7pm

USA & Mexico Tour 2009 - 16 September to 4 October 2009  
 

Strange Fruit headed to the US & Mexico again recently with Swoon! and The Spheres (4 person) playing on:

  • 16-17 Sept at Centennial Park & Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN (Swoon!)
  • Tue 22nd Sept at the Festival International de Chihuahua in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (Swoon!)

  • Fri 25 - Sun 27 Sept at Discovery Green in Houston, TX (Swoon! & Spheres)

Europe Tour 2009 - July to September 2009  
 

Strange Fruit was back touring Europe this summer with Absolute Pearl, Spheres and The Field.

Absolute Pearl was seen at:

Turkmenbashi Hotel Launch, Turkmenistan - 15 June 2009  
 
  Strange Fruit were part of the opening celebrations for a new 5* hotel on the Caspian Sea.

Greenwich & Docklands International Festival, London - 25 to 28 June 2009  
 

After a successful collaboration in 2008 between Strange Fruit and the UK's disabled-led Graeae Theatre Company, the companies were excited to be working together and performing again at the Greenwich & Dockland's International Festival.  The new show Against the Tide, commissioned by the GDIF Festival, was performed to a delighted audience at Cutty Sark Gardens in Greenwich, London:

  • Fri 26 June at 1:30pm & 7:30pm
  • Sat 27 June at 1:30pm & 7:30pm
  • Sun 28 June at 1:30pm & 4:45pm
